1. Acceptance & Service Scope
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the website, progressive web application, WhatsApp booking mechanisms, and doorstep pickup services offered under ScrapWallet (“Platform”), owned and operated by Anjani Rudra E-Waste Pvt Ltd.
By scheduling a pickup, creating a scrap manifest, or utilizing our services in Delhi NCR, you represent that you are at least 18 years of age, legally competent, and agree to be bound by these Terms.
2. Customer Declaration of Ownership & Title
Mandatory Ownership Warranty:
You unconditionally represent and warrant that you are the lawful owner or authorized corporate representative of all scrap materials, appliances, and electronics handed over to ScrapWallet. All items are free from liens, mortgages, criminal investigation, or third-party encumbrances.ScrapWallet reserves the right to request government-issued identification (Aadhaar, Voter ID, Driving License) or corporate authorization letters before executing high-value or commercial collections. Possession of stolen or encumbered property is reported immediately to law enforcement.
3. Doorstep Digital Weighing & Live Pricing
Scrap rates displayed on our portal and live rate cards are indicative commodity benchmarks based on our real-time Price Master.
- ISO-Calibrated Digital Scales: All items sold by weight (kg) are weighed right before you using verified, battery-powered digital scales.
- Grading & Physical Condition: Appliances and IT hardware (such as split ACs, compressors, laptops) are physically verified for completeness of core components (e.g., copper coils, internal logic boards).
- Right to Decline: If the calculated total after physical weighing or grading does not meet your expectations, you have the absolute right to decline the sale before payment disbursement at zero penalty.
4. Payout Settlement & Irrevocable Transfer of Title
Once you confirm the digital weight and total estimate, payment is settled immediately on your doorstep via Instant UPI (Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm, BHIM), IMPS bank transfer, or cash on pickup.
Irrevocability: The instant the payout transaction is executed and the scrap items are loaded into our vehicle, the sale is final. Absolute, unencumbered ownership and legal title to the materials transfer irrevocably to Anjani Rudra E-Waste Pvt Ltd for immediate industrial recycling.
5. Prohibited, Hazardous & Illegal Materials
ScrapWallet strictly prohibits the handover of hazardous or unlawful items. We will reject:
- Bio-medical waste, pharmaceutical refuse, or toxic chemicals.
- Pressurized gas cylinders, ammunition, explosives, or flammable solvents.
- Radioactive or regulated industrial hazards.
- Municipal garbage, decomposed organic waste, or general sewage.
6. Customer Obligation for Residual Device Data
You acknowledge that electronic devices (laptops, mobile phones, servers, tablets, storage drives) may contain confidential, proprietary, or personal data.
It is your sole responsibility to erase and decouple all user accounts and data before physical transfer. ScrapWallet and Anjani Rudra E-Waste Pvt Ltd shall not be liable for any lost files, intellectual property, or residual data left on devices destined for recycling or material recovery.
7. Booking, Rescheduling & Cancellation
Pickups may be scheduled, rescheduled, or cancelled free of charge using our online tracking modal or WhatsApp support prior to driver dispatch. We reserve the right to cancel or re-route bookings due to extreme weather, safety hazards, or regional logistical restrictions.
8. Limitation of Liability & Indemnification
To the maximum extent permitted by Indian law, Anjani Rudra E-Waste Pvt Ltd, its directors, officers, and logistics personnel shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from platform use.
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless ScrapWallet against any third-party claims, liabilities, damages, or costs (including legal fees) arising from any breach of your ownership warranties or the provision of encumbered or hazardous goods.
9. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms and any disputes arising out of or related to our services shall be governed exclusively by the laws of India. Any legal dispute, suit, or proceeding shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in New Delhi, India.
