This Privacy Policy applies to the web portal, progressive web app, WhatsApp channels, and doorstep collection network operated under the brand name ScrapWallet, legally owned and operated by Anjani Rudra E-Waste Pvt Ltd, having its operations hub in Delhi NCR, India.
By accessing the platform or booking a scrap pickup across our service zones in Delhi, Noida, Greater Noida, Gurugram, Ghaziabad, Faridabad, Bahadurgarh, or Kundli, you consent to the practices described herein.
2. Personal Data We Collect
Under the data minimization principle of the Digital Personal Data Protection Act (DPDPA 2023), we collect solely information required to schedule, weigh, collect scrap, and disburse payouts:
- Contact Details: Customer name, 10-digit mobile number, WhatsApp contact, and optional email address.
- Pickup Location: Address, landmark, city, 6-digit PIN code, and device geolocation coordinates (upon explicit browser consent).
- Scrap Manifest: Selected items, approximate quantities, and customer-uploaded item photos for vehicle sizing.
- Payout Identifiers: Virtual Payment Address (UPI ID) or Bank Account Number with IFSC for IMPS settlement. We never ask for or store your UPI MPIN, card CVV, or passwords.
- Operational Records: 5-digit Order IDs, WhatsApp OTP delivery records, digital scale weight readings, and driver dispatch logs.

Your information is processed strictly for lawful purposes under Indian law:

Routing pickup staff to your premises in your chosen slot.
Instant Settlements
Executing real-time UPI and IMPS payouts after digital scale verification.
WhatsApp OTP & Status
Sending transactional authentication and weight payout receipts.

Fulfilling environmental records under CPCB & DPCC guidelines.
4. Hardware Data Sanitization & Destruction
Upon payout disbursement, physical title transfers irrevocably to Anjani Rudra E-Waste Pvt Ltd. At our ISO 14001:2015 certified recycling facility, storage drives undergo degaussing or mechanical hammer-mill shredding meeting NIST SP 800-88 guidelines to render data salvage impossible.
5. Payout Safety & Banking Information
All digital payouts are processed through NPCI and RBI-authorized banking rails (UPI and IMPS). Your payment identifiers are utilized strictly for sending payment for verified scrap weight and are never sold or shared with advertising networks.
7. Information Security Measures
We implement multi-layered safeguards including 256-bit TLS/SSL encryption in transit, strict role-based data access controls, automated rate-limiting, and physical surveillance at our Delhi NCR collection facilities.
8. User Rights under DPDPA 2023
You have the right to access a summary of your personal data, request correction of inaccurate records, or seek erasure of non-statutory records by writing to care@scrapwallet.in.
